PHOENIX, AZ – A woman died late Tuesday night after a vehicle struck her at a busy Phoenix intersection before fleeing the scene, reports abc15 Arizona.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Thomas Road and North 91st Avenue, which is just east of Banner Estrella Medical Center.
The investigation thus far suggests that the vehicle may have been a pickup truck with significant damage to its front end.
Police have not shared any other details about the accident. They are encouraging anyone with information to contact the Phoenix Police Department.
