PHOENIX, AZ – A crash on the eastbound side of the Red Mountain Freeway near North 40th Street blocked the right lane of traffic on Tuesday evening, reports Arizona DOT.

The incident happened sometime before 4:58 p.m. Crews are still working to clear the roadway, at which point the right lane will re-open.
