PHOENIX, AZ – A female motorcyclist died on Friday evening when she crashed her bike along the interstate in Phoenix, reports Arizona’s 3TV.
Police say the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on the ramp from State Route 51 southbound to I-10, which is just south of East McDowell Road.
The investigation indicates that a motorcyclist crashed after losing control of her vehicle, at which point she was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
A full investigation is underway.
