PHOENIX, AZ – A woman is in critical condition as a result of a motorcycle collision east of the Lookout Mountain Preserve on Monday, 12News said.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Greenway Parkway and Cave Creek Road. Police believe a female motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed, which caused her to lose control of her motorcycle and crash into a tree.
Fire and EMS crews rushed the female cyclist to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
No other vehicles or individuals appeared to have been involved.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
