News: Woman allegedly runs over boyfriend following domestic dispute in Casa grande

CASA GRANDE, AZ – According to ABC 15, authorities have arrested a woman they believe intentionally struck and killed her boyfriend with a car on Saturday morning.

Police say Shelly Shears, 51, was involved in a verbal argument with Billy Stephens, 59, before she ran him over around 8:30 a.m.

Rescue crews transported Stephens to an area hospital, where he died.

Authorities arrested Shears on suspicion of second-degree murder and booked her into the Pinal County jail.
