PHOENIX, AZ – A driver died following a two-vehicle crash near N 7th Ave and W MacKenzie Dr on March 30, according to AZ Family.
Ramon Aaknes, 31, collided head-on with a pickup truck around 11:20 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Aaknes to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the driver and passenger from the pickup truck fled the area. Authorities located them and found the driver to be impaired. They transported the driver to an area hospital before charging him with DUI.
