CAREFREE, AZ – According to CBS 5, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a motorcyclist near N Cave Creek Rd and N Pima Rd on Sunday.
The pickup truck driver and motorcyclist collided around 1 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the pickup truck driver fled the scene.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
