PHOENIX, AZ – According to FOX 10, a suspected drunk driver allegedly fled the scene after crashing with another vehicle at N 43rd Ave and McDowell Rd on Tuesday.
Phoenix police believe Cordero Duckworth, 35, was impaired when he collided with another vehicle around 1:45 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver who was struck to an area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
Authorities apprehended Duckworth near the scene of the incident and processed him for DUI. They issued Duckworth a citation for DUI and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
