SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Scottsdale fire crews are working to extinguish a vehicle fire that is blocking an HOV lane and two left lanes on Loop 101 North.
The fire occurred near McDowell Road at 3:13 p.m., according to AzDOT. Firefighters did not say whether the fire was caused by car mechanical issues or resulted from a crash.

Drivers in the area may continue taking Loop 101 but are urged to proceed with caution as crews work to clear the area.
All lanes have not reopened, and no injuries have been reported at this time.
