News: Driver hits, kills pedestrian near North East Village

PHOENIX, AZ – A driver struck and killed a pedestrian near N 40th St and E Oak St on Friday, according to AZFamily.

The driver collided with David Pinkerton, 46, around 1:45 a.m.

Rescue crews transported Pinkerton to an area hospital, where he died.

Following the collision, the driver fled the scene.

Authorities do not have a description of the suspect or their vehicle. They urge anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them.
