CHANDLER, AZ – One person’s life was claimed in a plane collision that happened near the Chandler Airport on Tuesday, ABC News said.
The plane collision took place before 8 p.m. near South McQueen Road and East Queen Creek Road. The Chandler Fire Department said only one person was on board the plane and declared them dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the victim’s name, but revealed it was likely the pilot.
Chandler Police Department and the Federal Aviation Administration are working to determine the cause of the crash.
