ELOY, AZ – Two people died in a crash involving a car and two commercial trucks along the interstate between Phoenix and Tucson on Tuesday, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.
The incident occurred sometime before 5 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-10 near mile marker 208, which is just west of Eloy Memorial Park.
It’s still unclear how the crash happened. Video footage of the scene shows a blue car under a FedEx truck.
Authorities have not yet identified the victims.
Officials closed the eastbound lanes of I-10 as far back as mile marker 203 to clear the scene and begin the investigation.
