PEORIA, AZ – According to AZ Family, the Peoria Police Department is investigating an ambulance wreck near 83rd Ave and W Northern Ave on Saturday.
A driver hit an ambulance around 1 a.m.
First responders transported the driver to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two people from the ambulance crew suffered minor injuries. No patients were inside the ambulance.
It is unclear if speed or impairment were factors in the collision.
