News: 2 hurt when vehicle hits store on 33rd Ave

PHOENIX, AZ – Medics transported two people to the hospital after a car crashed through the front of a Phoenix business on Monday afternoon, reports abc15 Arizona.

Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. at d.d.’s Discounts, which is a clothing store located at 4035 North 33rd Avenue, just off of West Indian School Road.

The investigation thus far indicates that a man crashed into the store after being involved in a car accident in the parking lot.

Medics transported a customer from the store to the hospital with serious injuries. She is expected to recover.

The male driver sustained minor injuries in the crash. Authorities suspect he may have been impaired at the time of the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
