PHOENIX, AZ – One woman was critically injured and six children sustained minor injuries in a collision involving a school bus on Tuesday, Fox10Phoenix said.
Preliminary details show that the bus, affiliated with St. Louis the King Catholic School, was on its way to iFLY Indoor Skydiving in Scottsdale for a field trip when it collided with a car. The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. in the area of North 16th Street and East Glendale Avenue.
Out of the 68 children on the bus, six were left with minor injuries. The driver of the other car, a woman, was hospitalized for critical injuries. Her condition has improved, and she is now stable.
The children’s parents and guardians have been notified.
