PHOENIX, AZ – One person lost their life and another was left in critical condition as a result of a crash between an SUV and a pickup truck on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision took place after 1 p.m. on I-17 South north of Jomax Road, according to Arizona Family. A silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a white Jeep Wrangler collided, leaving significant damage to the Jeep.
One person succumbed to their injuries at the scene, and one was hospitalized for treatment of critical injuries.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety started an investigation.
