PHOENIX, AZ – A hit-and-run suspect was arrested after a fatal crash that killed a cyclist on Tuesday, 12News reports.
The suspect, later identified as 47-year-old Martin De Jesus Trinidad Sanchez, struck the cyclist with his vehicle near Greenway and Cave Creek Roads and fled the scene prior to first responders’ arrival.
EMS crews rushed the adult cyclist to a hospital, where they later died. Their identity has not been disclosed.
Police did not say what specific charges Sanchez could face.
