NORTH PHOENIX, AZ – A 15-year-old girl died as a result of a pedestrian-car crash in North Phoenix on Wednesday evening.
12News said the incident happened near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. The teenage girl was walking across a driveway entrance when she was struck by a car.
The young pedestrian unfortunately died from her injuries at the scene.
Police confirmed the driver stayed at the scene and do not believe they were impaired.
A full investigation into the pedestrian-car crash is underway.
