SOUTH PHOENIX, AZ – A woman’s life was claimed in an electric scooter crash that happened outside Hayden Park on Wednesday.
The woman, who was riding an electric scooter, had reportedly failed to control her speed when she crashed into a car pulling into a driveway, Fox10Phoenix said. This crash happened before 9:30 a.m. in the area of 7th Avenue and West Broadway Road.
EMS crews rushed the female scooter rider to a hospital. She was initially left in critical condition, but later died from her injuries.
Police do not suspect impairment on behalf of the driver and have reported no charges for them.
