PHOENIX, AZ – A pickup truck driver fatally crashed into a dry canal near N 18th Ave and E Hatcher Rd on Tuesday, according to CBS 5.
Antonio Lopez-Cortes, 43, was driving a red pickup truck when he drove through the canal fencing and landed upside down around 4:45 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Lopez-Cortes dead at the scene.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
