BUCKEYE, AZ – A driver’s life was claimed in a trash truck rollover collision on Interstate 10 East on Thursday, Fox10Phoenix said.
The incident happened near the Jackrabbit Trail off-ramp. Arizona Department of Public Safety believes the driver lost control of their truck after experiencing a tire blowout.
The truck overturned and spilled sand onto the road. The truck driver died from their injuries at the scene.
Authorities shut down eastbound Jackrabbit Trail for several hours before reopening the area.
