WEST PHOENIX, AZ – A male cyclist was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash that happened in West Phoenix on Thursday, Arizona Family said.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of 27th Avenue and Lamar Road. There, a vehicle struck the cyclist.
The driver fled the scene prior to Phoenix police’s arrival.
Police are working to determine what the suspect and their vehicle looked like.
Phoenix police closed 27th Avenue from Lamar Road to Ocotillo Road to accommodate the on-scene investigation.
