MUNDS PARK, AZ – A teen boy died in a two-vehicle wreck on I-17 two miles northwest of Munds Park on Jan. 25, according to CBS 5.
A sedan driver was traveling south on I-17 when they hydroplaned and was hit by another vehicle around 12 p.m. A 13-year-old passenger from the second vehicle died in the crash.
Rescue crews transported another passenger and the driver from the second car to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The sedan driver was not hurt in the collision.
Officials have not released the victims’s names.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
