AVONDALE, AZ – The Arizona Department of Transportation was called to the scene of a cement truck rollover collision on Interstate 10 in Avondale on Monday.

According to Fox10Phoenix, the crash happened on the westbound lanes along Fairway Drive. Officials say four vehicles were involved, but did not specify whether the cement truck overturned after colliding with three of the other vehicles.

Regardless, the impact of the crash caused the truck to spill material onto the road, warranting closures that lasted over an hour.

Closures started at 10 a.m. and ended at 11:30 a.m.
