SUN CITY, AZ – According to AZ Family, Sun City police are investigating a fatal golf cart accident near N 103rd Avenue and W Cherry Hills Drive on Saturday.
Chester Sharpe, 82, was driving a golf cart south on 103rd Ave when he crossed into oncoming traffic and hit an SUV head-on around 10:30 a.m.
Authorities believe Sharpe may have experienced a medical event before the collision.
Impairment was not a factor in the incident.
