FORT MCDOWELL, AZ – A fatal ATV crash was reported in the Lower Sycamore OHV area near the Tonto National Forest on Sunday, according to AZ Family.
Two men were riding a Can-Am Maverick Side-by-Side ATV when the ATV rolled over around 6 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced one of the men dead at the scene and transported another man to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officials have not released the deceased man’s name.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
