PEORIA, AZ – According to AZ Family, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian at W Olive Ave and N 78th Ave on Thursday night.
The driver was heading west on W Olive Ave when they struck the victim around 11 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Authorities believe speed and impairment may have played a role in the crash.
The Peoria Police Department is investigating the incident.
