PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, the Phoenix Police Department is investigating a fatal 2-vehicle collision that happened near 40th St and Cactus Rd on Monday.
The wreck occurred around 5:30 a.m. One of the vehicles involved in the crash rolled over.
Emergency crews extricated one of the drivers from his vehicle and pronounced him dead at the scene. They transported the other driver to a hospital, where he remains.
Officials have not released information concerning the cause of the collision or the identities of the two men involved.
