MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ – A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a motorcyclist near Dysart Rd and Rose Ln on May 19, according to AZ Family.
The motorcyclist struck a construction sign and was knocked off his vehicle. The driver of a dark-colored pickup truck then ran over the motorcyclist and fled the scene on Dysart Rd around 9:30 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
