PHOENIX, AZ – A hit-and-run collision killed one person near the I-17 overpass and Indian School Road around 4 am Thursday.
Arizona’s Family said a driver was trying to cross north from Indian School Road when a hit-and-run driver crashed into him. Police identified him as Robert Tsiosdia, although it is unclear if he was transported to a hospital or if he died at the scene.
Shortly after the collision, police found the hit-and-run driver near North Mountain Park and arrested that person. However, the driver’s identity is unknown.
Lanes on the I-17 were closed and reopened. Police are investigating the crash.
