PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian near N 67th Ave and W Indian School Rd on Friday.
The driver hit Latisha Sterling, 47, as she was crossing W Indian School Rd outside of a crosswalk around 9:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Sterling to an area hospital, where she died.
Following the collision, the driver stayed at the scene.
Authorities do not believe the driver was impaired.
