PEORIA, AZ – A driver hit and injured a 13-year-old student near N 98th Ave and W Deer Valley Rd Thursday, according to 12 News.
The victim was an eighth grader at Sunset Heights Elementary School and walking to school when the driver hit her.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities do not believe impairment played a role in the collision.
