SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ – A driver struck and killed a motorcyclist near Gary Road and Silver Streak Way on Saturday, according to 12 News.
A pickup truck driver was turning left from Gary Rd to Silver Streak Way when they pulled out in front of Sarah Farmer-Herrera, 37, who was riding a motorcycle south on Gary Rd.
Rescue crews pronounced Farmer-Hererra dead at the scene.
Authorities arrested the pickup truck driver and a warrant was issued for a blood draw.
Officials have not released the pickup truck driver’s name.
