GLENDALE, AZ – According to AZ Family, a fatal two-vehicle crash was reported near N 47th Ave and W Northern Ave on Tuesday.
A female driver was speeding at around 80 mph in a 25 mph zone when they ran a stop light and collided with another vehicle around 4 a.m.
The two occupants of the speeding car, Alaina Gallegos, 34, and Eliseo Ochoa, 32, died in the crash.
Crews transported the driver of the car that was hit to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities closed W Northern Ave between 43rd and 51st Ave to investigate the incident.
