PHOENIX, AZ – The Arizona Department of Public Safety had to shut down several southbound lanes on I-17 South due to several collisions that happened on Thursday night.
AZFamily said the crashes and shutdowns took place after 7:30 p.m., just before the I-10 interchange. All lanes reopened by 8:15 p.m.
The northbound lanes continued to remain open to traffic.
The exact cause of the collision has not been reported.
