PHOENIX, AZ – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a collision on I-17 in downtown Phoenix this morning.
According to Arizona DoT, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the freeway near the 7th Street overpass at about 8:22 a.m.

Details regarding the cause of the crash are limited at this time. Traffic camera photos from the scene show multiple emergency vehicles blocking the left lane and left shoulder of the freeway.
