PAGE, AZ – According to AZFamily, at least one person died in a single-vehicle collision on US 89 near mile marker 491 on Monday.
Emergency crews closed down Us 89 in both directions to clear the scene and investigate the collision. The southbound lanes have been reopened, but the northbound lanes remain closed. Traffic is alternating in the southbound lanes.
Officials have not released information on the cause of the crash or the identity of the person or persons who died.
