PHOENIX, AZ – A rush-hour collision in west Phoenix caused major delays for commuters on Thursday morning.
According to Arizona DoT, the accident took place at about 9:25 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the exit to Litchfield Road.

We do not know at this time if anyone was injured in the crash. At least two lanes were shut down while crews worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the collision is unclear at this time. Photos from the scene show a sedan and a semi-truck blocking two right lanes.
