News: Speed, impairment suspected in crash that damaged Phoenix townhomes

PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix police believe speed and impairment were possible factors behind a crash that damaged multiple Phoenix townhomes on Saturday.

Police told 12News that around 11 p.m. several cars crashed into several homes near 43rd and Glendale Avenues.

The impact damaged a female resident’s home window, which is now boarded up, and a wall, and seriously injured a man.

EMS took the man to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Police are actively working to determine the cause of the crash and have not released other details at this time.
