SCOTTDALE, AZ – Significant traffic delays were reported following a crash on Loop 101 in the Scottsdale area, Total Traffic Phoenix reports.
The crash happened shortly after 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway near Exit 40 to Cactus Road.

Scottsdale police and firefighters each responded to the incident. The cause of the collision remains unclear at this time. However, the HOV lane and one left lane were closed as a result.
We do not know if anyone was injured as an immediate result of the crash.
