PHOENIX, AZ – Emergency crews were called to a wreck Friday evening on Interstate 10 in northeast Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (DOT).
The collision took place on the eastbound lanes approaching Exit 146 to 16th Street, in the city’s Garfield area. It was first reported at about 7:09 p.m.
No information regarding the circumstances of the event or the parties involved has been shared, but several travel lanes were closed because of the scene.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., nearly 1.5 hours later, crews had cleared the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
