PEORIA, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver died after slamming into a median on Loop 101 freeway near W Olive Ave on Tuesday.
The driver was heading south when he hit the center median wall. They were ejected from their vehicle and landed in the northbound lanes.
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Following the collisions, crews shut down the area to process the scene.
