PHOENIX, AZ – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a collision on Loop 101 in the Deer Valley area this afternoon.
According to a report by Arizona DoT, the accident took place at about 12:50 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near the exit to 19th Avenue.

We do not know at this time if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the crash. However, the HOV lane and at least one left lane were closed, causing significant traffic delays in the area for some time afterward.
All lanes were reopened shortly after 1 p.m.
