News: 4 injured after driver runs red light, crashes into south Phoenix gas station

PHOENIX, AZ – Four people were injured when a driver ran a red light and crashed into a gas station in south Phoenix on Thursday morning.

According to CBS 5, the driver ran the light at the intersection of Central Avenue and Dobbins Road and hit a protective barrier in the parking lot of a nearby Circle K.

A bystander was hit with debris when the car hit the barrier. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Three occupants in the vehilce, two women and a boy, were also transported to nearby hospitals with minor injuries.

Investigators say alcohol was a factor in the crash. It is unclear at this time if the driver responsible will face any charges.
