PHOENIX, AZ – Commuters in northeast Phoenix faced delays following a collision on SR-51 this morning.
According to Arizona DoT, the accident was reported at about 11:23 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway near the exit to Thomas Road.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, at least three lanes were closed as a result, causing significant traffic delays in the area.
