PHOENIX, AZ – According to 12 News, two people died in a wrong-way crash on eastbound I-10 near 7th Ave Sunday.
A driver was heading west in the eastbound lanes of traffic when they collided with another vehicle around 3:30 a.m. The collision caused both cars to catch on fire.
Rescue crews transported a 57-year-old woman and a 32-year-old woman to an area hospital, where they died. They transported a third woman to the hospital in stable condition.
Officials have not released the victims’ names.
