PHOENIX – According to 12 News, a motorcyclist died following a multi-vehicle crash near N 51st Ave and W Thunderbird Rd Saturday.
Robert Hazelton, 47, was riding a motorcycle south on N 51st Ave when he rear-ended a car. The collision ejected Hazelton from the motorcycle and he was then struck by a truck driver heading north on N 51st Ave.
Emergency responders transported Hazelto to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
