News: 1 hospitalized after driver crashes into Tempe storefront

TEMPE, AZ – One person was injured when a vehicle crashed through the entrance to a store in Tempe on Thursday night.

According to 12 News, the driver accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and slammed into the store located near Mill Avenue and Southern Avenue.

Two people were in the path of the vehicle when the incident occurred. One person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

It is unclear at this time the driver will face any charges.
