PHOENIX, AZ – A female driver died after colliding with a Phoenix city bus near 19th Ave and Cactus Rd on Monday, according to 12 News.
The woman struck the bus head-on around 9 a.m.
Rescue crews treated the driver before pronouncing her dead at the scene. They checked out three passengers on the bus and transported one man to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials have not released the driver’s name or information on what led up to the collision.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
