PEORIA, AZ – A wrong-way crash was prevented by an Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper in Peoria on Wednesday.
DPS told AZ Family that they received a call after midnight about a wrong-way vehicle traveling on Loop 303. The moving wrong-way vehicle was located on Lake Pleasant Parkway.
The trooper was able to use his cruiser to prevent the driver from continuing. The trooper and the wrong-way driver were uninjured.
The wrong-way vehicle seemed to have sustained some damage to its back.
Troopers have not said if impairment played a role in the crash.
